John Icke

It is with sad regret that we have to record the death of John Icke. He loved walking the Herefordshire countryside with his beloved little Scottie dog Archie. We will miss his dry sense of humour.

 Herefordshire Ramblers’ Away Weekend, September 2018

Forty members of Herefordshire Ramblers spent a very enjoyable weekend away in September 2018.  We stayed at the National Trust’s Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre on the south Pembrokeshire Coast.  Our walks were by the lily ponds on the Stackpole Estate to Stackpole Quay, from Manorbier Castle along the coastal path back to our base and, finally, westwards for more views of the fine coastal scenery and secluded coves.  Thanks go, in particular, to John, and to Phil, Heather and Annie, the latter for the mental exercise of a quiz.
